This Trend Talk explored  the challenges and opportunities associated with the clean energy transition and the role that governance can play in ensuring a fast and fair transition.

Effective governance mechanisms are essential to manage the distribution of costs and benefits and address issues related to energy access, social and environmental justice, and the empowerment of marginalized communities.

Together with our expert from OXFAM, Mr. Dante Dalabajan, we examined the potential of different governance models and the role of international cooperation in supporting the transition to clean energy and achieving the 2030 Agenda for sustainable development.

The session provided a platform for critical dialogue and knowledge sharing on ways to support a fast and fair clean energy transition that benefits all members of society.
