What is the Blue Line?

The Blue Line is an online learning ecosystem created by the UN System Staff College with a precise ambition: to be a unique and global learning hub open to all UN personnel for personalized and self-directed learning.

Conceptualized in 2018, launched in 2020, and now in use by 45,000+ UN personnel across 150+ duty stations, with corporate subscriptions from 13 UN entities advocating for lifelong learning.

The Blue Line platform enables you to:

Create a personal learning plan tailored to your own needs, interests and ambitions, and track your progress each step of the way.

Achieve your learning and development goals at your own pace while engaging with a community of fellow UN colleagues from across the system.

Select from a growing number of curated online modules and learning paths and earn specialized badges and certificates.

Make lifelong learning a habit as you integrate learning into your day-to-day life and work towards continuous development.
