Dr. Connson Chou Locke
Professor Connson Chou Locke joined the LSE Department of Management in 2008 where she teaches leadership, organisational behaviour, and negotiation. She has received numerous teaching awards during her tenure at LSE, including the Department of Management Outstanding Contribution Award, Student-Led Teaching Excellence Awards, and the LSE Excellence in Education Award. She holds a Ph.D. and M.Sc. in Business Administration (Organisational Behaviour) from the University of California, Berkeley and a B.A. in Sociology from Harvard University where she graduated with honours.
Before entering academia, Professor Locke worked for 16 years as an educator, manager, and consultant in the United States and Asia Pacific. Most recently, she was Asia Pacific Regional Training and Development Manager for the Boston Consulting Group where she oversaw the learning and development of consulting staff in 10 offices across Asia Pacific. She has worked in nearly 20 countries across Europe and the Asia Pacific as well as in the United States and Australia.
