Dear UN colleagues and partners,

The mission of the United Nations System Staff College is to provide the skills and knowledge to empower the most valuable resource of the UN system: our people.

To pursue this mission amidst the challenges presented by #COVID-19, we at the UN System Staff College are making sure that UN staff and partners have uninterrupted access to UNSSC's offerings. This means a strengthened focus on online learning.

The Staff College has extensive experience in online learning. Many UNSSC offerings have been online for some time. Given our strong background in remote learning, our teams in Turin, Bonn and New York are laser focused on maintaining a high-quality experience for our clients and partners.

First, we are moving a number of residential programmes online. Second, shortly we will be announcing additional learning offerings (some for free) to increase your opportunity to pursue distance learning. Make sure to sign up for our newsletter to hear about these initiatives.

For many of us, teleworking offers a novel opportunity to learn. We encourage you to take advantage of the time normally spent commuting to explore our course offerings and sign up for UNSSC's rich collection of e-learning and self-paced programmes.

If you see that we are not offering a learning programming that would benefit you, we are happy to work with you to design one. Get in touch with us at info@unssc.org for the opportunity to speak together.

Despite the events of the past few weeks, we at the Staff College remain committed to our core mission and to ensuring that UN staff and partners have continuous access to the learning offerings that will enable us to serve the world of the future.

On behalf of all of us at the Staff College, I wish you all good health!
