Lucy Chinen is a bio-based materials practitioner and co-founder of nonfood, a micro-algae-based food company. She researches food tech as it relates to climate change. To expand the way we classify living things, Chinen employs a set of 14 garden tags to describe, often in surprising and humorous ways, the different plant species found on the United Nations campus in Turin.
