Grace Kirugumi
Grace Kirugumi is an Associate Fellow at United Nations System Staff College working on the design and delivery of knowledge management products and training offerings in line with sustainable development.
She is passionate about promoting climate action through inclusive and integrated approaches that are community-centered.
Grace has international experience with multilateral and bilateral organizations in Kenya and Germany. She has previously worked on projects related to disaster risk management in informal settlements, developing spatial plans for cities, and research on climate change adaptation.
She holds a master's degree in Regional Development Planning at the Technical University of Dortmund in Germany, with a specialization in Climate Change Adaptation and Disaster Risk Reduction and Management at the University of the Philippines Diliman. She has a bachelor's degree in Spatial Planning from Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University in Kenya.
