Christianna Pangalos
Christianna Pangalos joined the UNSSC Knowledge Centre for Sustainable Development in August 2022 and is the Learning Portfolio Manager for Governance and Partnerships. Christianna has extensive experience in capacity development, governance and private sector partnerships for sustainable development.
Prior to joining the UNSSC, Christianna provided advisory services for institutional strengthening in Southern Africa with UNDP, UNODC and the World Bank. She has led anti-corruption projects with UNDP in Kenya and West Africa, and capacity development initiatives with UNDP in Latin America and the Caribbean. Her experience also includes managing large programmes and teams with USAID and international NGOs in East Africa.
Christianna holds a Master’s Degree in International Relations from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and Bachelor’s Degree from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service, including one year of study at Sciences Po in France. Christianna is passionate about leaving the planet a better place for her two daughters and all future generations.
