The UN System Staff College (UNSSC) is a recognised centre of excellence in the design, development and facilitation of innovative and effective learning processes for UN personnel around the globe. Instructor-led e-learning courses are a key element of UNSSC's strategy to provide accessible, relevant and cost-effective learning opportunities to all UN staff.

Almost 40% of UN staff members participating in online courses offered by the UNSSC since 2010 are based in the African continent. It is for this reason that the UNSSC is proud to join e-learning practitioners from around the world to share experiences, knowledge and best practice in providing technology-enhanced learning to learners in Africa.

The Staff College will be sharing some highlights of its experience in facilitating learning in a virtual classroom during this year's "eLearning Africa 2016: 11th International Conference on ICT for Development, Education & Training", taking place in Cairo, Egypt.

The College also offers the course "E-Learning: Course design, delivery and facilitation". In this online workshop participants explore the practical steps, models and tools needed to create a new e-learning/online course or to adapt a face-to-face course structure and delivery methods to online learners.

The next edition of this course is scheduled in October 2016. For more information and registration: click here.
