UNSSC and the Simpleshow Foundation join forces in promoting knowledge and engagement in the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development

Through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed on 27 October 2016, the United Nations System Staff College (UNSSC) and the Simpleshow Foundation a not-for-profit charitable organization established by the founders of explainer video pioneer Simpleshow commit to work together in leveraging knowledge and understanding of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and its SDGs, and by so doing, facilitating learning and training on the same topics.

By making use of Simpleshow’s scientifically proven explanation methodology complexity reduction based on the application of storytelling and simple language, supported by illustrations that underpin the message and stay in mind the partnership will concentrate on the design of a set of explanatory video materials around the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and its SDGs, and include the development of a dedicated training course, open to everyone interested in learning how to use Simpleshow’s methodology and tools for communicating around sustainable development.

The partnership between UNSSC and Simpleshow Foundation also includes the elaboration of an initiative open to the public to promote civil society knowledge and engagement in the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and its SDGs.
